I wanted to confront the impossible task of visualizing absolute emptiness—the cosmic void that stretches 300 million light-years without form or matter. I chose to erase expected landmarks and instead evoke the unsettling tension of agoraphobia and the nausea of infinite expanse through a subtle gradient of darkness and faint spectral hues. Here I show that nothingness itself demands attention, where absence becomes a presence so immersive it unsettles the viewer’s sense of space and stillness.
