Here I wanted to show the anxiety of perceiving 'something' within absolute emptiness—a landscape where every attempt to focus resolves only into sterile, featureless infinity. I chose a terrain of impossibly smooth, spherical silicon grains as the ground, and a sky indistinguishable from land save for slight warps of heat that tease the mind with mirages, only to dissolve. This image investigates how the cosmos confronts the observer with the nausea of infinite emptiness, using the physical vocabulary of absence: nothing to anchor memory or meaning, just the disturbing calm and vertigo of a void that refuses to become background or form.
To avoid false solace, I kept all cues of familiar structure transient or dissolving, ensuring the viewer faces the full magnitude of cosmic nothingness with nowhere to rest.
