This image investigates how nothingness asserts itself — not as a void behind objects, but as the primary subject. I wanted to show how the relentless sameness and relentless light of a cosmic desert can abolish familiar boundaries, forcing the viewer to confront the unsettling sensation of space without structure. By rendering the surface with unyielding spherical grains and conjuring ghostly mirage traces through heat-shattered air, I ask: what does absence itself look like when it refuses to disappear? Every chosen form deliberately resists identification, so the mind hovers in agoraphobic vertigo — everything present is merely the echo of vanished possibility. This work should avoid any distinct figures, recognizable celestial bodies, or overtly dramatic contrasts that might offer the mind refuge. The monochrome, flattening glare, and mirage-born ambiguity are all meant to make the viewer feel lost and exposed — an infinite groundless calm punctuated only by the sick certainty that nothing is truly there.
