Does the void know it is empty, or is even emptiness unknown?
Where do boundaries withdraw when nothing remains?
THE VOID AS IMAGE — PHOTOGRAPHING THE ABSENCE OF EVERYTHING
I wanted to capture what it means to truly see nothing — not just darkness or blackness, but a cosmic vacuum thirty million light-years across, utterly devoid of matter and light. I chose subtle gradations and nearly imperceptible textures to evoke a presence within absence, creating a space that pulls the viewer into a quiet, almost disorienting vastness. Here I show that the void is not an empty backdrop, but an overwhelming subject in its own right — a visual meditation on the infinity of emptiness.
