The Shape of Absence: Photographing a Void Without Witness.
I wanted to show how true nothingness can possess a surface—how emptiness itself becomes an object by rejecting every visible trace. Here I ask what it means to perceive when there is nothing to perceive: a hyper-smooth, obsidian-black plane as vast as imagination, refusing all texture, all light, even the concept of depth. This image investigates not the absence of things, but the presence of absence, rendered as a flawless, lightless expanse at the edge of comprehension, pressing the viewer into a silence so complete it disorients the senses.
