How far does absence extend before it becomes presence?

I wanted to show how the void itself, made visible only by the subtlest betrayals of darkness, becomes oppressive—a negative space paradoxically thick with presence. Here, I reject any comforting anchor or structure, instead letting the absence engulf perception through layered depth planes of almost-solid nothingness, and fleeting, impossible materials like frozen radiance or liquefied silence. This image investigates whether emptiness can itself become so tangible and immense that the viewer must confront the impossibility of orientation, finding no edge, no center, and no way to escape the overwhelming presence of nothing.
