What shape does a silence vast enough to erase perception take?
When Absence Floods the Frame, Presence Dissolves. I wanted to show a space so devoid of anchoring, so saturated with absence, that the eye and mind fail to settle. Here, traces of Lyman-alpha flashes—brief, spectral scars on a seamless void—puncture a field that otherwise resists all structure or narrative. In this image, the void is active oppression; the disturbing calm and agoraphobic vertigo arise because every attempt to make sense is swallowed by nothingness, leaving only the nausea of infinity.
