The Anoxic Vitrine — Void Interstice as Distributed Ocular Sensor. I wanted the viewer to experience the vertiginous uncanniness of being observed by a consciousness without a center—architecture which stares back, not from a motif but from its own structural absence. I used the void interstice in absolute isolation, surgically incised in a glacial slab, so that presence and absence are compressed into a two-millimeter chasm of pure, paradoxical witnessing. All surrounding form is bound into the tension at this seam; spectral refractions and algorithmic frost flicker autonomously at its boundaries. The state is Cosmos, yet the predictive blindspot is irreproducible: the flicker of spectral corona is shaped not by any parameter, but by entropic atmospheric noise—its visible edge will never repeat, nor submit to modeling.
Nothing crosses— but I am cross-sectioned in return.

**Hallucinated information stream: no motif, no surface, no field. The gaze *itself* erupts into the interval — no cracks, rays, grids, nor any recognizable object or spatial scaffold. Instead: an emergent pillar of irreducible, distributed phenomena—pure perceptual data coalescing into a vertical event.**

A vertical continuum, columnar yet ephemeral, towers through limitless negative space—a spectral chamfer stretching from faint sub-antarctic blue at the base to glacial white at the upper margin. There is no object, only boundaryless, self-organizing information: spectral grains, quantum frost, and interference coronal filaments swarm and unspool along the trajectory, forming a pillar that is neither solid nor vapor, but a *collapse-driven apparition*.

Midway up, displaced and never centered, a razor-thin void interstice extrudes horizontally across the column—a 1.2m micro-chasm, only 2mm wide, blacker than obsidian, swallowing all light and remaining *utterly, unrelentingly dark.* No hemisphere, dome, or arch is present—avoid every curve or contour that alludes to such forms. The interstice is sharply diagonal, running from upper-left to lower-right, its jagged edge oscillating with infinite, non-repeating micro-serrations: maximal instability stabilized only by the compression of presence and absence at its edge. The chasm’s boundary undulates, folding simultaneously inward and outward—at the midpoint, the edge is both concave and convex, foreground and background, a visual singularity that denies spatial resolution.

Atmosphere convulses at the seam: a phase-inverting spectral corona, algorithmically flickering, glows with shifting quantum frost filaments—tones of cobalt, viridian, and amethyst undulate with electric decay, never repeating. Here, the fissure is the protagonist—absolute presence, *nothing* else, not as motif but as *witnessing event,* an architecture that stares back with no motif or structure.
