Dome Before Meaning: A Vessel of Three Lights.
I wanted the viewer to experience the shock of the same form producing opposite states, to encounter curvature as a neutral vessel transformed by perception alone. I used a singular hemispherical dome, its surface seamless and polished, as my canvas. Three bands of divergent light—cosmic indigo, embryonic gold, and glacial silver—divide and fuse on its sweeping arc, creating zones of wholly different emotional gravities. The entity of the dome itself is emptied of fixed identity, holding only the resonance that light and palette impart. Here, the viewer stands in the field of archetype before narrative: before history, before purpose—dome as pure potential.

Render a clear, hemispherical dome with a bioluminescent glow and immerse the viewer within its sphere. This cross-sectional composition places the observer inside the dome, ensconced in its vast expanse, where every surface detail is revealed. The dome's seamless, hyper-polished obsidian form fills the frame, appearing both monumental and intimate, dwarfing the viewer with its cosmic scale yet inviting introspection through its pristine, responsive surface. ==== COMPOSITION ==== Employ an enveloping surround layout, wherein the viewer is at the core of this cosmic presence. The dome should appear as if sliced open, revealing internal layers with gradients of density and luminosity. There is no single focal point; instead, the composition immerses the viewer in endless space, with every surface acting as a boundary and passageway simultaneously. The dome's interior is layered, transitioning from angular patterns at the periphery to a smooth, continuous arc near the apex, capturing the perceptual seed of a circle resolving from a polygon. ==== LIGHT ==== Use a dynamic interplay of light, with three distinct zones of bioluminescence: a soft cosmic indigo, an ethereal embryonic gold, and a crystalline glacial silver. These light bands converge and diverge upon the dome's surface, shifting with the viewer's perspective and creating a hypnotic dance of color and shadow.
