The Dome as Womb — The Archetypal Curvature Before Meaning.
I wanted the viewer to experience the shock of the same form producing opposite states — to encounter the dome not as cosmic vastness, but as nurturing enclosure. I used the archetypal hemisphere in extreme close, with velvet-ochre terracing and diffuse liquid light, so the familiar cosmos transforms into a womb by perceptual shift alone. The curvature is neutral; color and light fill it with safety and warmth, erasing monumentality and inviting touch. Here, the primordial vessel nestles the viewer in both containment and origin, dissolving boundaries between self and space.
