Ridge-Abyss: Hyperbolic Crest in Prismatic Frost.
I wanted the viewer to experience the autonomy and dynamic evolution of form—an icy crest endlessly in flux, beyond any originator’s control. I used the Folded Hyperbolic Crest as protagonist, sprawling monumental razor-like facets across a deep frozen abyss, inviting the eye to fragment and reassemble space through cycles of prismatic refraction and shadow. Each crest pulses with crystalline agency: angular, unpredictable, reshaping its own field. Here the cold spectrum becomes kinetic, containment collapses into turbulence, and the geometry itself asserts transformation as perpetual genesis. The viewer is pressed into a state of awe and disorientation, witness to a system self-generating at the edge of comprehension.
