Autonomous Folds: Desert Crest as Cosmic Wave.
I wanted the viewer to experience the emergence of autonomy through transformation: a field where form no longer obeys its creator but is propelled into ceaseless self-evolution. I used the Concave Crest Fold as a sweeping, self-generating topography across an endless sandplain, with each fold an invocation of dynamic autonomy. Gradients of light oscillate across the crests, each luminous point refracted by mineral grains, so the whole field becomes a living paradox—order dissolving at the horizon, but each crest independently reshaping. The composition eschews a single origin, allowing the primitive to generate its own rules, its own expansion—an experimental canvas of dynamic becoming.
