Emergent Concave Spires: The Intimate Cosmos of a Dew Web.
I wanted the viewer to experience 'Inverted Orbit' as a microcosmic immersion, where emergent concave spires reveal the tension between presence and absence. I used the spire primitive—drawn out as minuscule, dew-laden threadwork—enmeshed with luminous and volatile droplets. By making the forms oscillate between soft translucency and near-invisible void, and by letting light pool, fracture, and diffract through the fragile architecture, I sought to wrap the viewer in cycles of entrainment and release. Here, the cosmos is both a network of interlaced forces and an ephemeral lattice forever between states.
