Temporal Resonance Unfolds in the Forest Hyperbolic Saddle. I wanted the viewer to experience temporal resonance as a felt vibration—where geometry and organic chaos intertwine. I used the transposed hyperbolic saddle in a monumental, earthy form, its diagonal voids and folds breaking the forest horizon. Each surface refracts dawn light, not as warmth but as a crystalline, almost sunglow chill, creating ambiguity between background and foreground. The forest becomes an agent, echoing and redrawing geometry in self-reflective layers—the infinite containment of the cosmos, but rooted in living matter. Depth reversal is achieved by casting foreground saddles as receding pools and pulling molecular grain forward as phantom canopies. The viewer is held—neither inside nor outside—by a harmony of disruptive rhythms.
Folds open. Light gathers at my rim. Roots echo my inversion—a future within the grain.
