Beneath the Alien Ocean: Hyperbolic Saddle in Luminescent Flux.
I wanted the viewer to experience the Inverse Vortex—where inversion and ambiguity dissolve the boundary between form and cosmos. I used the hyperbolic saddle reverie as a fluid, reflective geometry, amplifying and inverting concave voids, because it embodies oscillation between containment and release. Here, the liquid mercury saddle floats within a dense blue abyss, its surface mutating between undulation and collapse, while spectral light and impossible materialities blur reflection and refraction, constructing a living, breathing entity. Cosmic immersion is not prescribed; it arises as perception is unmoored by undersea spatial autonomy and rhythmic inversion.
