Inverted Concave Horizon As Luminous Undersea Breath-Line.
I wanted the viewer to experience the upended cosmology of an oceanic horizon turned inward—where orientation and scale dissolve beneath a luminous, unfathomable membrane. I used the Inverted Concave Horizon as a vast, transparent, bioluminescent ribbon, its undulating, gelatinous form stretching horizontally but pulling the eye both up and down. This transparency, diffusing and refracting a directed shaft of electric blue-white light, makes depth ambiguous, inviting the viewer into a tranquil immensity that hovers between suspension and gentle descent. The entities layer, bleed, and echo one another, generating a meditative state both in and beyond the visible world. Here the form expresses Cosmos—center without boundary, horizon without certainty.
