I wanted to show the palpable pressure of a void so absolute that even the idea of form dissolves within it—a trench where stillness is the only occupant. Here I ask: what does absence feel like when it is not empty, but dense and suffocating? The inky, supercooled fluid, monolithic sheets of dark semi-solid, and fleeting hints of bioluminescent haze act as anchors against the yawning, interior abyss. This image investigates the agony and peace entwined within total absence, compelling the viewer to confront the vertigo of being swallowed by a nothing that has mass.
