VOID REALIZED: PHOTOGRAPHING THE ABSENCE OF EVERYTHING
I wanted to confront the impossibility of capturing nothingness, to make visible a cosmic void stretching 300 million light-years wide. I chose to depict this absence not as an empty backdrop, but as the full subject itself—where silence and emptiness become almost tangible. Here I show a disturbing calm that induces agoraphobic vertigo, inviting the viewer to feel both the nausea and awe of infinite emptiness.
