The Surface of Nothing: Photographing the Edge of Absence.
I wanted to show the void not as silence but as an overwhelming subject, interrogating what it means to witness total emptiness. Here I ask: when nothing is present, can the shimmer of existence still disturb the mind—can the hollowness become tangible, pulling consciousness toward vertigo? This image investigates the paradox of a void so immense its emptiness possesses weight, rendered through barely-perceptible distortions and phantom light, inviting the viewer to stand at the edge of agoraphobic infinity and confront the nausea beneath its calm.
