I wanted to show not what exists, but what vanishes—how even in the most fundamental lattice of frozen matter, presence is ruptured by inexplicable pockets of nothingness. Here, I ask how it feels to witness concealment so thorough that not even darkness remains, where pockets of utter void are surrounded by the faint geometry of matter pretending to persist. This image investigates absence as the main subject, rendering the unseeable as a paradox: sharp emptiness embodying infinity, agoraphobic and calm in the same breath, daring the viewer to quantify the void’s dominion within the very heart of existence.
