Here I ask what it means to witness the absence of everything, placing the viewer not before cosmic grandeur, but within a maelstrom where even form is a remnant of annihilation. The shattering of glass-like fragments floating in oppressive darkness makes absence tangible, luminous where it should be silent—filling the void not with structure, but with its aftermath. I wanted to show how the void’s core rejects any cosmic motif: there are no stars, no nebulae, not even remnants of gas—only fragments spinning in discord, their etched, cratered surfaces scattering the rare gamma glints across sepia and topaz gloom. In the center, utter visual silence persists: no shard, no structure—just densityless black, where the palette is scorched earth, never cosmic blue, and every hint of cosmic architecture has been meticulously erased.
