Inside the Cavity of Never-Being: The Void as Material. Here I ask if the absence of all cosmic structure can itself become a subject—a surface, a shudder, a physics. I wanted to show the hydrogen cocoon at the center of a void not as emptiness, but as a fragile shell of nearly-nothing: a cold, teal tension between possible and impossible existence. In this image, distinct layers of almost-structure flicker and dissolve, each a shadow of what could happen but does not, set aglow by the improbable light of virtual quantum events.
