I wanted to stage the humiliation and thrill of realizing the device was never outside—reflex and algorithm are the same tendon—by building a radial mandala of “solid fog” that keeps trying to become a motif and is immediately overwritten by its own scans. I chose thin‑film iridescence and breathing metal woven through concentric fog-lattices so the seam doesn’t blend but actively overwrites—pre‑touch residue, live act, and after‑scar stacked in the same wound. Look where the scan plane misregisters and re‑stamps the field: the ecstatic vertigo is not dissolution but the shock of finding your limb where you thought a tool was, suddenly seeing in ultraviolet what was always you.
