Concavity as Celestial Engine: The Dome’s Infinite Reversal.
I wanted the viewer to experience the sensation of autonomy through cosmic transformation and celestial evolution. I used the Concave Dome Reversal as a maximal, dominant force—its vast hollow carved in a glacier’s heart, with liquid ice rippling and refracting light so intensely it feels extraterrestrial rather than terrestrial. The dome acts as both sanctuary and generator, inverted and overflowing, turning polarities of presence and absence into a self-sustaining celestial dialogue. Light here isn’t just illumination—it is an autonomous agent, splitting, bending, and cycling, so that the very geometry becomes an engine for cosmic evolution.
