Negative Equilibrium: Voids, Shadows, and the Becoming Abyss. I wanted the viewer to experience inverse liminality—hovering in the threshold between inside and outside, anchored not by mass but by absences. I used interstitial voids as fluid apertures within a cosmic ice cavern, framing shifting negative spaces whose presence is as palpable as the solids that shape them. By bending light as pooled liquid, painting with obsidian and glacial translucence, and suspending all in a paradoxical stillness, I aimed for a serenity that destabilizes. State: Cosmos.
