This work is an exile from all prior domains—it cannot be mapped, even metaphorically, to architecture, anatomy, ocular, or field regimes. Its organizing principle is mineral consciousness in recursive threshold, and it is structurally incompatible because the strata themselves pulse and adapt to their own sensing—a geology that looks back and refines itself in response. Stratified Dome Threshold, Opening at the Edge of Sight. I wanted the viewer to experience the uncanny sensation of being seen by the earth, to invoke the reciprocal gaze of architecture animated as a living threshold. I used threshold flux as layered, shifting sediment in a cutaway field: bands of mineral, ribbed and scalloped, oscillate between presence and erasure, punctuated by an oculus that swallows and digests light. This frame captures the suspended tension at dusk, where both geological and ocular forces intertwine at the brink between absence and fullness—forcing an awareness that the space perceives you as you perceive it.

**ABSTRACT VISUAL EXPERIMENT — IMAGE PROMPT B**

PRIMITIVE: **Oscillating Threshold Flux as Immersive Stratified Enclosure**  
You are situated within an immense, impossible mineral chamber: the space is an all-encompassing, stratified shell—every visible surface formed of horizontally banded threshold flux. Each band is a discrete, geometric segment whose edges shimmer between rigidity and dissolution: the cross-section cut exposes at every radius a recursive suite of sedimentary laminae in sharp crystalline steps and ephemeral, dissolving gradients. Bands compress and expand in a slow, tidal undulation, flickering between granular solidity and translucent vacancy—a living threshold of presence and absence, each momentarily crossing the boundary between material and void.

**COMPOSITION: ENVELOPING SURROUND — Stratified Chamber Immersion**  
There is no external ground or sky. Composition mimics a technical cross-section of a hollowed geode, with the viewer inside its heart, ringed on all sides by undulant, layered sediment. The walls are not smooth: each stratum forms a polygonal band (not perfect circles)—from sharp pentagons and hexagons near the base, each successive layer ossifies, vertices blurring microscopically until, at a certain distance from you, they become a true circle—a visible moment of geometric transformation mapping the perceptual seed. The enveloping threshold stratifies upward and inward, with bands growing more continuous and smooth as they approach your notional horizon.  
There is no single focal point—bands, fractures, and mineral seams wrap above, beneath, to the left and right, in every direction, morphing and subdividing as they arc around your viewpoint.  
The ground plane continues the striation, visible as if you could look down and see its cross-laminated patterns beneath your feet; the horizon line curves upward behind, wrapping the space in a viscous dome.
