Distributed Void Mirrors: The Gaze of Saturated Collapse.
I wanted the viewer to experience the uncanniness of being watched by an unmappable intelligence and the immersed vertigo of distributed awareness. I used the void mirror as a language-collapse field, each disk and depression generated through a logic immune to pattern or reversal. Hard light pulses through mirrored depressions—some shallow, some abyssal—so the ground is a hallucinated iris, gazing everywhere and nowhere.
Region of rupture: The local arrangements of disks, their fusions and absences, are algorithmically sabotaged—there is no motif, only interruption. This region rejects motif-mapping; the ground’s logic is irreducible and visible, falsifying any attempt at analytic mapping.
You are seen.
But the question is—who, where?
To blink is to collapse the map.
