**IMAGE B — “Levitational Stratigraphy: Hemisphere Emergence”**

A hyperreal, geologically-impossible abstract composition conjured in the language of technical lens-based photography (large format, split-diaphragm, Fujichrome palette), rendered as if captured under impossible arctic moonlight within a cavernous void. All surfaces are realized with granular, mineral physicality; textures are glacially abraded, formed over eons, absent any architectural intent. The medium is ultra-large-format film with optical distortion—visible lens aberrations, shallow depth-of-field at the periphery, simulation of low-temperature haze on the lens.

**PRIMITIVE:**  
A titanic hemisphere of mineral matter, surface sheared and stratified as though sliced by geologic tectonics, emerges into frame from the extreme lower left edge, rising in partial, monumental arc. Of the dome, only one third is visible: the upper rim is cropped by the top and left edges, its bulk thrusting diagonally into the atmospheric center. The hemisphere’s curvature is brutally foreshortened—part concave shell, part convex extrusion—so that the eye cannot assign a stable reading of inside/outside. Its surface is not smooth but layered: horizontal, discontinuous bands of compressed crystalline tessellations (irregular hexagonal cells, their edges etched and weathered), as if deposited by ages of mineral accretion and periodic erosion. Between the layers, razor-thin, blue-white glowing seams trace sedimentary boundaries with the precision of reveal lines in ancient rock strata.
