Crystal Saddle Beneath the Luminous Ice Abyss.
I wanted the viewer to experience the sensation of autonomy through transformation—where the Refracted Hyperbolic Saddle becomes an anchor, yet refuses to be defined by its geometry alone. I used the saddle as a solitary centerpiece, suspended in an underwater, cosmic glacial field, because its faceted prisms fracture light into spectral threads and luminous pearls. Here, the interplay of solid ice, liquid translucence, and impossible refraction sets the primitive into dynamic evolution, embodying a frozen moment of change that the maker cannot predict nor contain.
