Horizon Unfastened: A Hemisphere Held by Light I wanted the viewer to experience levitation. I used the ring/drum as an impossible boundary—an edge that detaches from structure—while a black oculus with a blue-white corona defines a cold vertical gravity. Here the vault is Cosmos: a single curvature filled only with directed light, electric meridians, and a paradoxical auroral chill that makes the dome float by perception alone.

The ring lets go; weight forgets its script. Up becomes a circle that refuses to land.
