Cobalt Ice Dome—Abyssal Vessel, Glimmering with Cosmic Memory.
I wanted the viewer to experience the shock of opposite states—a dome at once enclosure and infinite cosmos. I used the hemispherical primitive embedded in the oceanic abyss to test how containment transforms under the pressure of light and shadow. The dense cobalt ice surface fractures, catching both phosphorescent greens and abyssal blues, with prismatic fractures dissolving into the void. The result is a dome that feels fragile and eternal—a vessel not of a single mood, but of perpetual awaiting for meaning, the cosmic egg and the abyssal mouth at once. This frame captures the vessel’s ambiguity, suspended between cosmos and womb, timeless and transient.
