Oculus Extraction—Noon Disk, Mirage Rim, Sacred Polarity.
I wanted the viewer to experience the sacred ambiguity of aperture: the bright disk as revelation, the black void as abyss, both charged only by the presence or absence of the gradient haze. I used the Luminal Plane in pure isolation, extracting it from all context, floating just above an erased desert field—a disk and rim held off-center, surrounded by oceans of glare, so that every change in rim, fill, and haze polarity becomes physically felt as tension or absorption. This frame captures the raw experiment: does light’s edge alone suffice to invoke cosmic presence, or does the haze of transition enact all gravity? Falsification Criteria: This claim will be falsified if manipulating the gradient haze (adding or removing it) fails to shift the viewer’s axis from radiant tension toward absorbing void.
