The Wombed Sky and the Dark Updraft
I wanted the viewer to experience Prayerful Burning. I used Ray/Beam as Inversion because a dark, cooling updraft inside a self-luminous warm dome turns aspiration into a hush that pulls the gaze upward. I placed the center at the edge: the oculus is a warm darkness and the “beam” is absence made vertical, so the same hemisphere reads as cosmos through softness, mineral sparks, and a horizon of two incompatible worlds.
I lift as shadow through amber skin.
