White-Gold Oculus: Blinding Source within Mineral Patience. I wanted the viewer to experience the vertical rapture of an oculus gaze—protected beneath immense, timeless stone, suspended between heat and hidden cold. I used the Luminal Plane as an impossible, vertical stratification where white-gold sunlight becomes a palpable, semi-transparent surface—both source and aperture, layered above the threshold between revelation and void. Subtle frost veining crystallizes across rough ochre curves without dulling the architectural gravity. Success: An immaculate disk—blazing white-gold—anchors the zenith, sending vertical beams that dissolve surface into luminance, yet the dome’s mineral structure remains legible and palpably ancient. Failure: Absence of vertical stratification, or overpowered geometry—no sense of upward enclosure or frost’s impossible presence.

**Luminal Plane** — Here: manifest as an utterly vast, barely perceptible, razor-thin, semi-transparent field of pure liquid light, suspended in apparent contradiction—appearing as a luminous meniscus stretching asymptotically across the lower left, delineating the unseen boundary of an immense concavity. Light is not just illumination but a visible, fluid boundary that pools, thickens, and clings along the curve; simultaneously both a planar partition and a volumetric vessel. The form is impossibly ambiguous—barely a curve, nearly a straight line—so immense that its curvature is almost flattened by scale.

Place over 70% of all visual and geometric mass into the extreme lower-left corner—nearly the entire bottom left eighth of the image is dense with layered, intersecting luminal gradients and liquid light effects. Visual weight is achieved with overlapping, partially transparent, refractive color bands: pale blue, white-gold, and hints of spectral violet, coalescing where the immense concavity meets the near-invisible luminal plane. The rest—upper right 75%—is a vast, sparse expanse of nearly featureless negative space: a diffused, soft gradient from deep blue-violet (upper right) to near-white at the edge of the illuminated field, with just a few delicate, refracted filaments trailing into void.

Avoid any reference to enclosure, dome, or architectural entity.
