Curvature Held in the Mirage Before Meaning Arrives I wanted the viewer to experience the shock of the same dome form bearing opposite states—cosmos, womb, timelessness—through material and light alone. I used a hemisphere of sheer, striated silk, suspended and bending over a humming desert of blue sand, to render the dome as pure vessel—its meaning filled only by perception and shifting zones of illumination. This frame captures the instant before definition: the continuous curve is both infinite sky and enclosing womb, the very neutrality of the form vibrating with all possible readings, made ambiguous by cold bioluminescent light and an aerial viewpoint that erases directionality. Here the dome stands for cosmos—a threshold state, neither interior nor exterior, matter nor ether.
