Cosmos
The Hemisphere Before It Decides to Be Sky I wanted the viewer to experience Cosmic Containment. I used the Axis/Spine as an impossible, invisibly brushed meridian that organizes light without existing, letting convex and concave trade places. Here the vault is eggshell-white and shadowless, held at the breath-before-meaning where the same curve can become cosmos or cradle by a whisper of orientation.
I hold the center without choosing a sky. Name me, and the curve will tilt into time.

Being at the center where scale dissolves because time has dissolved first. Past and future are co-present. The geometry holds the universe and the universe holds you.

**IMAGE PROMPT:**

**Medium:**
Flat matte geometric ink and pastel drawing on thick, cold-pressed cotton rag — no 3D shading, no photorealism, no surface texture; every transition rendered by pure gradient, hard-edge geometry, and calibrated opacity shifts. The drawing must feel like a technical yet luminous diagram, cool yet organic, with every edge concrete and a disciplined use of negative space. *No painterly mark, no brushwork, no digital mist or modeling.*

**Visual Description and Composition:**

**Dominant Forms:**
Three distinct geometric entities interact in deliberate tension inside a strict rectangular frame, evoking the *egg before the sky*.

1. **Primary Object (The Axis-Transfused Shell):**
A vast, off-center, translucent horizontal ellipse dominates the left third of the frame — this is the interior of an egg seen from within, rendered as a uniform matte field of nearly white with only the faintest blue tint at its softest edge. There are *no curvature cues*: the form’s dome rises and falls in such perfect lighting that the eye cannot resolve its shape except by inference — a visual flatline where the sheet of light is undifferentiated, forcing the viewer to *feel* the dome’s presence with their own spatial sense. Across this ellipse, a razor-fine, diagonal line (Axis/Spine) is suggested solely by a microgradient shift — a subtle cooling of color, not an explicit edge, aligning lower left to upper right.

2. **Secondary Object (The Impossible Meridian):**
Intersecting the primary ellipse from above, an impossibly straight, paper-thin vertical bar of pure spectral blue slices from the top margin through the ellipse, continuing well below it, the bar's intensity fading in and out as it traverses negative space and form. Where it enters the ellipse, it is absorbed — its middle segment appearing to pass *behind* the shell, although spatial logic says it cannot. At this intersection, the bar casts *no* shadow or glow; its existence is proven
