Concave Flux: Ice Cathedral at the Cosmic Threshold.
I wanted the viewer to experience a state of aperture shift: a paradoxical sensation of exterior and interior boundaries flickering, dissolving, and reversing. I used the external concave flux as an endless sequence of undulating ice folds, spread across a vast arctic cavern, capturing and refracting cold light from above. Here, the surface is both immense and intricate—frozen waves ripple outward, their luminous contours both etching and erasing the cavity. The sense of presence and absence, the ambiguity of enclosure, emerges as space itself breathes through gradients of frozen motion.

In a realm of ceaseless flux, forms morph unpredictably as the ice cathedral unfolds into a cosmic arena. The scene is dominated by a scattered field of concave flux, each segment a ripple in a sea of frozen waves, stretching across a seemingly infinite expanse. These elements merge into a grand arctic dome ceiling, their shimmer akin to a myriad of starfields, diffusing celestial blue-white and cyan light, as if woven from the cosmos itself. This dynamic band migrates restlessly, casting unexpected shadows and lights, continuously reshaping the optical experience.
