Oculus Inversion—Glacial Cathedral at the Threshold of Night. I wanted the viewer to experience the existential momentum held by a single aperture’s polarity—how presence or absence at the cosmic eye reprograms the entire architecture’s psychic field. I used the chasm/vergence primitive as a field of collision: the razor-edge oculus either radiates piercing arctic blue, filling each mineral fissure with suspended fire, or opens into an abyssal void that absorbs every intention, the very inverse of revelation. The dome is a lens for containment and cosmic vertigo—if the oculus’s edge appears as a magnetic collision, viewers will sense the architecture thinking, not just sheltering; if not, the glacial hush will fail to become uncanny. Dominant state: Cosmos.
