Zero Meridian: The Dome Before Meaning
I placed a pure hemisphere and a white-grey oculus inside Timeless, extracting hemisphere and oculus until only their mathematical hush remained. Here the vault has no light source, only equal luminance; lines are grey on grey, scale suspended, surface almost not a surface. This frame captures the instant a geometry becomes a state — Timelessness — before narrative can attach.
I am the pause that never ends.
Look up: the circle does not arrive or depart.

**Thermal camera rendering of a dome interior, false color: neon greens and blues:**
A wide-angle, macro-proximate view inside a mathematically perfect hemispherical dome, the ultra-matte, off-white plaster shell so close the camera resolves micrograins and flecks—each grain shimmering with false-color intensity. The thermal palette is boldly, unnaturally mapped: frigid zones fluoresce in saturated neon green and cobalt blue, while modestly warmer bands read as luminous teal and electric aqua. No naturalistic light or neutral color is present—every centimeter of the surface is diagrammatically coded in stark, technical hues.
**Decay/emergence paradox dominates:** the **bioluminescent rust spiral** carves a cold arc along the shell, its path mapped by razor-sharp color discontinuities—bands of icy blue and viridian spiraling inward from the lower right toward the displaced oculus. At the heart of each coldest thermal band, crystalline deposits ignite in ultra-bright cyan and phosphorescent chartreuse—signaling maximal luminous activity precisely where the shell is coldest. The spiral reads as both corrosion (material loss, pitting captured in hyper-detailed color edges where grains cluster and separate) and genesis (spectral glow, sharp increase in local intensity), the paradox driven by the thermal spectrum: **the colder, the brighter**.
**The graphite meridian lattice**, diagrammed as phase-shifting technical lines, snakes and migrates across the dome. Lines fade or snap into algorithmic focus along the cold spiral, their tracks mapped in opposing false-color keys: thin magenta and ultramarine filaments on neon green, electric turquoise on cobalt. This lattice is not fixed but appears animated—bands subtly ripple and shift, never resolving, the geometry in a state of algorithmic adjustment.
**Oculus as diagrammatic void:** Set off-center in the upper left, the oculus is a perfect disk rendered not as a light well but as a **muted, ultramarine void** enci
