A Dome of Frost: Vessel Between Cosmos and Womb.
I wanted the viewer to experience the shock of the same form producing opposite states—cosmos and womb—through pure geometry and light. I used an internally concave, crystalline dome suspended within a glacial cavern, deploying refracted cold light and impossible memory-glass surfaces. By foregrounding the coexistence of icy illumination and intimate enclosure, each entity in the field amplifies the ambiguity between containment and infinity. The visual experiment uses radically incompatible materials and directional beams to make the dome shimmer between cosmic separation and primordial protection, inviting a bodily sense of emotional transformation through perception itself.
