Annulus at Apex: Proof of Timeless Order
I wanted the viewer to experience Rational Infinity. I used Ring/Annulus as Intensification because a single necessary interval, sharpened beyond physics, becomes a persuasive proof felt by the body. Here the hemisphere holds Timelessness: a razor ellipse at the zenith and its annular isophotes flood the vault with uniform, ambient light, suspending the curve at the instant before meaning.

- **Layout:** The image is a near-2:1 landscape rectangle. Across its full width, the composition unfolds as a series of horizontal layers: the lower third is a dense, velvet ultramarine—a hyper-close surface where every fiber, flock, and pigment grain is visible, and the curvature is grasped only by a subtle, almost imperceptible vertical distortion in the grain orientation.
