Archetypal Dome: Infinite Containment in Underwater Tranquility.
I wanted the viewer to experience the shock of the same form producing opposite states, and to feel the dome as a neutral vessel filled purely by perception – the dome before meaning. I used the hemisphere as an immense submerged, translucent volume to suspend certainty and summon curiosity. Light shafts cut through the icy acoustic membrane, while bioluminescent textures and impossibly silent, mauve-tinged waves amplify a state between cosmic awe and primordial comfort. Every element highlights how curvature can oscillate endlessly between vastness and intimacy, asking the viewer: what does enclosure mean when nothing in scale, material, or light stays constant?
