Oscillation at the Frozen Horizon: Breathing the Edge of Absence. I wanted the viewer to experience Aperture Shift by immersing them in the ambiguity of a seamless, inverted concave horizon carved from living ice. I used this primitive as a flowing, wave-like field stretched across an intimate dome, modulating light and shadow through prismatic, crystalline material. Here, the frozen edge is neither strictly interior nor exterior—a shifting threshold where presence and absence echo and transform. The state is Cosmos: the self dissolved in oscillating vastness.
