I wanted to render the shock of realizing the device was already inside the gesture—reflex and algorithm as one continuous muscle. I set diagonal slabs of liquid stone into dynamic near-collapse and cut a palimpsest band through them where pre-residue, active event, and post-scar overwrite each other in the same physical region, so the boundary doesn’t blend—it erases and re-forms. I chose bioluminescent cold blues and recursive scan failures to keep any motif from stabilizing; the exhilaration comes where the overwrite bites clean through form, and the vertigo is the moment you see you’ve always had this limb.
