I chose translucent, phase-shifting technical skins—memristor fogs, parity-scorched lattices, scanline sediments—so the ground reads like a malfunctioning interface rather than geology. In the central overlap zone, three times coexist: pre-event ghost (radar-scan residue), active overwrite (plasma parity rupture), and post-scar burn-in (annealed ID smear) continually re-marking each other; you should feel the prickle of a floor that audits you, the awkwardness of an earnest system failure made public, and the sudden thrill of recognizing an impossible, sentient pattern in the pavement.
