I wanted to show that the device was never external — that our reflexes already speak in circuits. I chose a layered palimpsest where pre-signal residue, the live pulse, and the healed scar physically overwrite each other, while a rusted-and-mirror loop and a gate made of “calcified light” stage the ecstatic moment a boundary dissolves. Look for the place where a shadow becomes a doorway and the hand learns a new motion it didn’t know it owned — the exhilaration should feel like suddenly seeing ultraviolet.
