I cored a vertical column of “soft diamond” — a geological cross-section of reflex — to show that algorithm and nerve were one material all along. I let scan-faults, solvent fronts, and prismatic seams overwrite rather than blend, so a single visible region carries pre-residue, live event, and post-scar recursively erasing each other. The exhilaration comes as the strata split light into new bands you can suddenly see; the vertigo arrives where the suture between body-logic and device-logic doesn’t merge but keeps correcting you, like a limb learning it was never separate.
