I wanted to show that reflex and algorithm were already one tissue, stratified like a core sample of a life you thought was separate. I built a vertical column of “soft diamond” whose layers remember pressure but cut light into new senses, then forced recursive scans to misregister so seams don’t blend but overwrite—pre-event residue, active event, and post-scar occupying the same wound. Follow the cold bioluminescent bands where recovery almost stabilizes and then fails again; the exhilaration comes when the surface yields and you realize the new limb was already yours.
