I wanted to stage the instant you realize the device was already your tissue—an off‑center void acting like a shared reflex rather than a hole. I built a field where synesthetic liquid and scan-seams overwrite each other in three temporal layers at once—pre-residue, live surge, and post-scar—so the boundary doesn’t blend, it actively replaces what came before. The risk was to make emptiness the subject: a gravitational well that edits the image like a thought you didn’t mean to think; stand close and feel the ecstatic vertigo as the seam erases you and returns you larger.
