I wanted to stage the instant a body recognizes its dispersed presence—when the “shadow” reveals itself as infrastructure already carrying our signals. I chose recursive nesting and paradox materials: magnetic wood in the crosswalk pulling iron filings into living circuitry, and a timefold varnish under her hovering foot where pre-residue, active ripple, and burnt-in scar overlap in one visible palimpsest. Here I show the silhouette blooming into the city’s nerves; look for the droplets and irises that each contain the whole scene, so the exhilaration lands like suddenly seeing a spectrum you’ve always been emitting.
